About me

Flavia Sciullo, with roots in both Switzerland and Italy, embarked on her musical journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in classical singing under the guidance of Isolde Siebert at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in opera singing at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, where she studies with Christiane Libor and Stephan Klemm. Her studies are set to continue until February 2025. In addition, she regularly works with Regina Werner-Dietrich to further refine her skills.

Flavia’s musical talent was first recognized in May 2018 when she won first prize with distinction at the Swiss Youth Music Competition. In April 2019, she made a notable appearance as Donna Anna in a university production of Don Giovanni in Basel. In the fall of 2020, she took part in the project “Im Flow der Apokalypse” at Theater Basel, where she portrayed Cunegonde in Bernstein's Candide.

In May 2023, Flavia took on the lead role of Alice in Anno Schreier's opera WUNDERLAND at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe. She sang the role of Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos in November 2023, and in May 2024, she once again portrayed Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, both productions also at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe.
Furthermore a significant role that has become central to Flavia's repertoire and her artistic identity is the Queen of the Night from Mozarts Die Zauberflöte.

Flavia Sciullo continually enhances her training by participating in masterclasses and has had the privilege of working with renowned artists such as Elena Moșuc, Barbara Frittoli, Lisette Oropesa and Tatjana Gürbaca.
